Armor is a type of gear equipped by the player for protection. It is dropped by enemies, found in chests, and sold by some vendors.
Armor converts to physical damage reduction, which negates a percentage of incoming physical damage like bullets. Resistance works the same way but only for ability damage. Damage mitigation is a global damage reduction attribute that reduces all incoming damage and is applied at the end of the equation.
Rare and higher quality armor includes a random bonus attribute:
- Bonus Firepower
- Max Health
