Moloch is an Altered rival character in Outriders,
Description[]
He is seen in a vision the player has during the mission 'The Scientific Method', in which he kills the alchemist. It is highly likely that Moloch is Test Subject Number Six referenced in the Alchemists' Logs.

Seth first introduced you to Moloch When he shared his vision of the powerful Altered fighting for the Insurgents. He warned you against trying to face him, but after Moloch destroyed Seth, it appears you may have no choice.
Moloch's Powers seem to have twisted him into a wretched being, barely recognizable as human. Judging by Seth's carbonization, Moloch wields fire with frightening skill.
No one else among the ECA seems to know about Moloch or the threat he poses, likely because none of them have survived laying eyes on him.

You encountered Moloch during the assault across Trench Town. He defeated you in battle and is now at large.
It seems clear that Moloch is insane. He shows little allegiance to the Insurgents' cause, and only fights for them to satisfy whatever cryptic, depraved cause he's pursuing.
Moloch appears to carry a shriveled man on his back, crucified to a cross-like harness, but like somehow alive. Is he a prisoner, forced to suffer witness to all the death and destruction the Altered leaves behind? Or could it be that this vestigial person is somehow in control - the real Moloch, using a mindless meat puppet as it's vehicle?

You battled Moloch one last time in the trenches near Trench Town, as you were recovering one of the drop pods. The insurgent Altered had grown even more powerful since the day he killed Seth and nearly ended your own life. But he was no match for your this time. You defeated the maniacal Altered and can claim Seth's death finally avenged. The story behind the person he carried crucified to his back remains a mystery.
