While you waited for a storm to pass, Bailey awoke for the first time since her injury. She learned she would never walk again.
As you kept watch, you saw a light in the distance and set out to investigate. You expected to find Kang's fighters had followed you, but instead you were ambushed by a savage breed of creatures, more intelligent than the monsters you've encountered so far.
You fought your way back to the camp to find your crew gone. August emerged out of hiding, claiming the creatures took them. The native promised to lead you to them.

August led you to a village, nestled deep in the desert, built on the slopes of a hill. The structures don't look far off from the ruins discovered in the forest, except this place hasn't been abandoned. August believes this is where those beasts brought Jakub and the rest.
